Term, Part-time (80%) Hospitality Management Diploma Program Instructor

January 2, 2020 April 29, 2020 

Duties: The Hospitality Management Diploma program at College of the Rockies, Invermere Campus requires a term faculty member in the Winter 2020 semester to teach various courses within the program that include MGMT 216 (Organizational Behaviour), MGMT 316 (Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management), and two MKTG 281 courses (Principles of Marketing). These courses are taught face-to-face in the classroom. Please see the college website for full course outline descriptions: Course Outlines - All Documents. 

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a Master's Degree in Marketing, Management, or equivalent. A record of scholarship or experience in marketing, advertising, or the field of sustainable business practices will be considered an asset. Recent college teaching experience, experience teaching face-to-face courses, experience with using learning management systems and a demonstrated commitment to the academic needs of non-traditional students, including second language students, will be an asset.

Salary: As per the Faculty Salary Schedule and depending on qualifications, instructional and related work experience, the salary for term, part-time (80%) employees is in a range from $4,489 - $7,213 per month (this includes 16% in lieu of vacation). The College also offers a comprehensive range of benefits. 

Successful candidates may be required to complete a Criminal Record Check.
