Auxiliary Instructor Positions for the following trades:



Heavy Duty Equipment Technician

Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)



(On Call/As Required)


Auxiliary instructors (on call/as required) are required to instruct in the above listed trades programs.


Journeyperson Red Seal status within the trades listed with a minimum of five years journeyperson experience. In addition to excellent organizational, computer and interpersonal skills, previous teaching experience with adults would be an asset. Experience working with apprentices and/or additional trades certificates would be considered an advantage

As an employee of College of the Rockies, the successful candidate is expected to be a lifelong learner who continues to develop his/her skills to help the College meet the needs of our students and our other valued clients.

Successful candidates may be required to complete a Criminal Record Check.


As per the Faculty Salary Schedule and depending on qualifications, instructional and related work experience, the salary for auxiliary employees is in a range from $38.58 to $51.88 per hour (this includes 14% in lieu of benefits and vacation).
