The College of the Rockies requires an auxiliary instructor to teach one course in the Engineering program as a part of the first-year Engineering Common Core curriculum. This course will be delivered in the 2022 Fall semester at the Cranbrook campus. The successful candidate will deliver one 30-hour lecture and one 30-hour lab in a face-to-face delivery. This instructional assignment is expected to be Engineering Design 1 (ENGR 101). The ideal candidate will be committed to excellence in classroom teaching and be interested in helping support the growth of the Engineering program at College of the Rockies.

This course and lab are offered in a face-to-face delivery method at the Cranbrook campus.

A P.Eng. or Eng. L. designation is required. A Master's degree in Engineering or a related field and experience teaching in a post-secondary setting will be an asset.

As per the Auxiliary Faculty Salary Schedule $44.28 to $51.88hour depending on qualifications and experience (includes 14% in lieu of vacation and benefits). The 30-hour lecture includes an additional 30 hours of preparation and marking time, and the 30-hour lab receives an additional 15 hours of preparation and marking time. The total paid number of hours for this assignment is 105 hours.
