The University Math and Science department at College of the Rockies requires an auxiliary instructor to teach a first year Environmental Science lab in the Fall semester. The instructional assignment is expected to be ENSC 101 Lab (Introduction to Environmental Science). The lab is expected to be face-to-face at the Cranbrook campus. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or equivalent. A Master's Degree in Environmental Science is preferred. Preferred qualifications include recent college teaching experience, experience teaching face-to-face courses and a demonstrated commitment to the academic needs of all students.

As an employee of College of the Rockies, the successful candidate is expected to be a lifelong learner who continues to develop his/her skills to help the College meet the needs of our students and our other valued clients.

Successful candidates may be required to complete a Criminal Record Check.


As per the Faculty Salary Schedule - Depending on qualifications, instructional and related work experience, the salary for Auxiliary employees is in a range from $44.28 to $51.88 per hour depending on qualifications and experience (includes 14% in lieu of vacation and benefits). The successful candidate will teach a 45-hour lab with an additional 22.5 hours assigned for marking/prep hours for a total of 67.5 paid hours.
