System Analyst

Regular Full-Time


This position reports to the Director of IT Services and designs, implements, and administers IT systems in use at College of the Rockies. This position also provides advanced end-user support for College of the Rockies stakeholders. This position provides backup support for other members of the IT Dept. as required.


  • Computer Technology Diploma.
  • 2 years' experience in a LAN/WAN environment
  • CompTIA A+ Certification. Network+ certification Desirable
  • Exceptional understanding of Microsoft SharePoint or other document management software.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint online systems including workflow process and creation.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity standards.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills. Ability to empathize with frustrated end users both over the phone and in person.

Salary: as per the CUPE Salary Schedule and Collective Agreement, Pay Level 6 $44,751.79 to $53,429.40 per year.
