Term Full-time, International Projects and Partnership Development Officer

June 1 November 30, 2019

Duties: Reporting to the Manager, International Projects and Partnerships, the incumbent works as a member of the International Team and supports both international project development and international education in realizing departmental targets and goals.

The primary focus of this position is working on international business and development projects including researching and corresponding with international partners to develop and provide tailored programs, assisting in developing student and staff exchanges and internship opportunities, and proposal writing and project management. In addition, the position will assist with international contract development, education programs, study tours and recruitment of international students to College of the Rockies.

This is an auxiliary position to backfill the regular, full-time position (full-time description attached)

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in international affairs, development, education, or business; or in a related field. A minimum of three years of related experience, including at least six months of relevant international experience in a developing country. The successful applicant will also have proven experience writing successful funding proposals, coordinating projects, and managing project budgets. The position requires extensive inter-cultural experience, the ability to deal with multiple demands in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and a value driver's licenses are also required; second language skills in a language or languages relevant to the College's international work are desirable.

Salary: CUPE Pay Level 7 $29.19 to $34.77 per hour (includes 16% in lieu of benefits)
